Rigi
Van De Galgehoeve (Missi) is a stunning branded
Belgian mare with fabulous paces, conformation and
very affectionate temperament. She was bred and
branded in Belgium but sadly her original papers
have since been lost. We are currently in the
process of tracing her damline from her breeder.
Missi is by the KWPN stallion Fabre, who is by the
famous KWPN foundation stallion Pion. Fabre’s
damline includes other exceptional names including
Le Mexico and Furioso.
Missi
is kindly on loan from Emma Bracegirdle from
Lancashire, with a view for Elvingston Stud to buy
her in the future as a broodmare. Missi
successfully competed in showjumping before retiring
from her ridden career due to a hock injury. She
has since bred a fantastic foal with Emma who is
being retained as a future competition prospect.
Missi
was successfully shown in hand with her foal at
foot. They were very successful at the KWPN grading
show, with the judges making excellent comments
about both Missi and her foal. The foal also won
Champion Sports Horse Foal at County level last
year.
Missi
will be put to Freckleton Enchilada later this year,
and may be put forward for grading later this year. |
